Hilma af Klint (1862-1944) was a pioneer within abstract art, a step ahead of world-famous artists such as Kandinsky and Mondrian. Hilma af Klint created hundreds of abstract pieces over the years, but very few got to see them because she felt her generation simply was not ready for her art. This spring, The Modern Museum in Stockholm houses the greatest Hilma af Klint exhibitions ever (16 february – 26th of may 2013). Click for details.
