The massive construction of houses with apartments and hotel-type facilities in the Soviet Union began in the 1960-70s. These houses were built for employees of industrial enterprises, large enterprises as temporary housing in the chain hostel – Dormitory – full-length apartment, but nowadays the apartment are given into private hands.​ Photography by Denis Korobov.
