What are you creating?
– Art.
How would you describe your work in one phrase?
– That’s difficult… but maybe its about combinations – but it’s also very much about culture and technology.
What is the best thing about working in New York, Berlin and London?
– The food and the airports.
Who is your icon?
– Don’t have one.
Untitled false document, 2008, 16mm film colour and sound
Who is the best artist right now?
– I don’t know. It’s always changing… maybe Thomas Bayrle.
Where is the place to be?
– Anywhere where I can work and play.
Describe your current state.
– Relaxed. I’m alone in my bedroom and the only light comes from my laptop. I’m wearing a striped green shirt.
